All taxpayers with a base number or nomination number are required to link with Permanent Account Number (PAN) under the provisions of section 139AA, recently started in the Income Tax Act, 1961 (Act) effective July 1, 2017. It has been kept in mind that some taxpayers have to face difficulties in this process and the date for adding support to PAN has increased to 31 December 2017, which initially increased to 31 August, 2017 Had went.
