This is the result of a response from the Head of the Strategic Planning Directorate of AADE in a document submitted to Parliament on a question by a Member on the checks planned by the Finance Ministry at Hotels.
The document emphasizes that in the Operational Plan of the AADE for the year 2017, the following objectives and actions have been set as the highest priority and priority:
Compliance survey of tourism service industries.
Monitoring and evaluating the results of some tax audits in hotel businesses for which tax evasion was detected following an online survey.
Develop a risk assessment study to target and conduct audits on businesses that have committed tax breaks during the summer season.
Organize at least 35,000 partial on-the-spot inspections by the tax authorities, with at least 15% offenses being detected.
Conduct at least 5,000 obvious controls and traffic controls by YPDD
Perform at least 4,000 targeted on-the-spot inspections by the YPDD, with at least 42% of them being detected.
As stated in the response of the Head of the Strategic Planning Directorate of the PPA, the further geographical distribution and specification of the audit services targets is made by the Directorate-General for Tax Administration in cooperation with the relevant departments regarding the Tax Offices. and by the Directorate for Planning and Evaluation of Audits and Research (DIPEAE). with regard to YDED
Finally, it is noted that in the context of the fight against tax evasion in the hotel business sector, specific actions are planned, which will be included in the Operational Plan of the SAE for the year 2018.
