The application was filed with the Monomeles Protodikio Athinon for inclusion in the Special Management Scheme of the Skaramangas Shipyards.
In the application filed by the Greek State with Piraeus Bank, as they are the creditors with the most debts of the company, they request the appointment of a special manager for the sale of the yard's assets through the auction process with a view to finding a new investor and the satisfaction of their requirements.
With this application, the Greek State asks to be satisfied for all the state aid granted to Skaramangas Shipyards, which together with the surcharges reaches € 665 million, while Piraeus Bank for debts totaling € 25 million. However, the company has significant debts to third parties and to employees.
It is recalled that according to the government's plans for the future of Skaramagas Shipyards, the aim is to separate them into a commercial and military arm and then to find investors.
