PASSADIA: We do not accept the cost conveyance for consumables

Anxiety shock from people with diabetes who say "We do not accept the cost passage for diabetes consumables imposed by Pharmacists".

In particular, the Pan-Hellenic Association of Associations of People with Diabetes Mellitus (PASASDIA) once again informs all people with diabetes that there has been no change in participation in medicines and consumables and continues:

According to the Ministerial Decision on "Redefining compensation prices for disposable sanitary material for patients with diabetes mellitus and Mediterranean anemia" (Government Gazette 2181Î’ / 17.6.2016), it is stated explicitly that:

"It is noted that these prices are obligatory for the contracting providers and any passage of costs to the insured persons constitutes a breach of contractual terms and imposes the appropriate sanctions."

According to the EYEO 2013, the quantities of consumables and legal participation are as follows:
If a pharmacy requests you an additional amount beyond the legal participation, where it exists, this is unlawful and should not be paid. If the pharmacist does not accept it, we are going to another pharmacy. In the event that an additional amount has already been paid in addition to the legal participation, we are addressing the local Association members of POSSADIA for more information ".

The Federation notes that "it is already waiting for the price of some consumable medical supplies to be adjusted by EOPYY and until then everything that we have mentioned above applies."
