Why do not you throw "banana thread"?

As we peel the banana, we will almost always see the characteristic "threads" that we instinctively pull and throw together with the peel.

But where do these "threads" serve and why is their place not in the trash but in our ... stomach?

Phytology is officially called a phloem and is a kind of tissue . They consist of live cells and allow the nutrients and sugars to reach the different parts of the plant. In other words, the "yarns" act as arteries so that the fruit gets the ingredients it needs to grow properly.

Their texture may differ slightly from that of banana, but they are as delicious as rich in potassium, fiber, vitamin A and vitamin B6 as the fruit itself.

Also, the "yarns" show how mature the banana is. If you peel them off easily from the fruit then it means that the banana has matured enough and it will be more delicious!
