Which brand recalls all of its cars ?

The Nissan recalled 1.2 million. Cars in Japan, as these were not checked by authorized technicians before leaving the factory.

The recall concerns all Nissan models that have been sold since 2014.

According to Reuters, cars were not properly checked before they were delivered from the factory to the Delegations.

Hiroto Saikawa, chief executive officer of the company, said he would investigate why the cars were not inspected and that he would hire a third company to investigate the matter further.

"We need to take the classification framework and procedures seriously, no matter how busy we can be, or how many new executives we are," Saikawa told a conference at Reuters. "We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers."

In addition to the millions of cars already delivered to consumers, the recall also affects 60,000 cars stored at various factories and company representatives around Japan.

The issue was first brought to the attention of the car industry by the Department of Planning, Transport and Tourism of Japan following an inspection earlier this month.

At present, it is not clear whether safety inspections were invalid due to unfortunate oversight or if it was a deliberate act.
