The national consensus demonstrates, in essence, as a way out of the crisis businessman Evangelos Mytilineos, proposing "a national reconstruction plan that should be embraced by all".
Mr Mytilineos in his speech at the New York Times, quoting as a key element of this plan, is dealing with debt, given that the current one is not viable and creates a hostile environment for investment.
It proposes, among other things, to focus the project on strengthening economic activity by introducing some fundamental reforms such as the creation of a stable tax environment with lower rates, much lower surpluses than the "unbelievable and unrealistic" 3.5% per annum, efficient public sector, rapid privatizations, and a true rapid authorization system for investments of over € 100 million.
Through a combination of measures that increase GDP and at the same time reduce debt, it is confident that the country could have tangible results in record time, "offering great hope to the Greek people and a chance for a real recovery".
Mr Mytilineos, in closing, insists on the precondition of unity and national plan: "Our strength lies in national consensus, without political angles. And I think we can do it if we embrace our own strategic plan. "
